On the stability of circular reinforced arches in the case of spatial deformation

The work considers a circular arch loaded with uniformly distributed normal pressure directed towards the centre. The ends of the arch are attached with cables, one end of which is attached to the arc of the arch at an appropriate angle, and the distance between the points of attachment of the cables cannot be increased. We estimated pressure values, at which curved equilibrium forms of the arch are possible, and the smallest of these values is found, which is the critical force.
