Objectivity of the court in supervising the preliminary investigation

The purpose of this article is to analyse the problem of maintaining the objectivity of the court that makes decisions in the pre-trial proceedings. The article considers the grounds for recusal of the judge who made a decision at this stage, in cases of subsequent consideration of the criminal case on the merits, the peculiarities of filing and consideration of complaints under Article 125 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation.
