Providing a basic level of IT competence of cadets and trainees of educational organizations of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs

Introduction. The authors ask a question urgent for the present time: how to form digital competencies in learners studying in educational organizations of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs? A century ago, one of the key tasks of the state was to eliminate the illiteracy of the population (in the traditional sense). Now times have changed, and we are talking about the need to eliminate digital illiteracy. The objective is to define the primary mechanisms of ensuring the basic IT competence of cadets and trainees of educational organizations of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
