The article substantiates the reasons for the increase in the number and variety of configurations of the supply chains of liquefied natural and hydrocarbon gas. The necessity of multidimensional attention to the problem of ensuring their safety is argued. The results of the analysis of modern approaches to its solution are presented. The peculiarities of ensuring the security of the supply chains of liquefied natural gas and hydrocarbon gas are revealed, considering the differences in the requirements for their commodity movement. The priorities of working out approaches to ensuring this security are determined.
