Ensuring the safety of the population at the municipal level

Ensuring the safety of the population of the Russian Federation is a priority in the activities of public authorities. Security in this context means both public and economic, environmental and even social security of the population. At present, the security measures at the national level are detailed, however, the implementation of the municipal security policy is poorly understood, which in our view is a significant error, as local authorities are closest to the population.
