The article discusses the key directions of effective transition of Russian enterprises to a digital economy model with a low level of contacts in the context of the global COVID-19 pandemic. It is shown that today ensuring the transition of Russian enterprises to a digital model of the economy with a low level of contacts should be based on effective automation of business processes in all situations should begin with an understanding of how these processes occur. It is proved that in modern conditions, the economy with a low level of contacts has exacerbated the need for further concentration of enterprise management on improving the quality of customer service. New trends and behavioral business models focused on the long-term perspective of an economy with a low level of contacts in the context of digitalization and the global COVID-19 pandemic have been identified. As a result of the conducted research, a four-stage plan for an effective transition to a viable model of an economy with a low level of contacts is proposed.
