The methods of calculation of the degree of aggressivity of biogenic operational environment and prediction of corrosion damage zones in sewage channels by the example of a drainage-communication tunnel in Ashgabat are presented. It is shown that the durability and environmental safety of sewage tunnels can be carried out at the design stage by taking into account all adverse factors, including biological. It is revealed that the degree of aggressiveness and toxicity of the gas environment of sewage channels can be predicted using a comprehensive consideration of the microbiological processes of formation of metabolic products of microorganisms and in the solution of applied tasks of hydro - and gasdynamics.
