The purpose of the study is to assess the condition of sires located at JSC Krasnoyarskagroplem in the period from 2016 to 2019 for infectious and parasitic diseases. Upon admission to the breeding enterprise, sires were subjected to a 30-day quarantine, during which they were subjected to daily clinical examination with thermometry, diagnostic tests for leukemia, brucellosis, chlamydia, trichomoniasis, campylobacteriosis, bovine paratuberculosis, vaccination against leptospirosis, emphysematous carbuncle, anthrax, as well as viral diarrhea, parainfluenza-3, infectious rhinotracheitis, respiratory syncytial, roto- and coronavirus infections in cattle. Imported animals were examined twice for Schmallenberg and Bluetongue disease viruses. Bulls-producers were subjected to mandatory medical examination twice a year. For the prevention of infectious diseases, tuberculinization of animals was carried out twice a year, blood serum sampling for testing for leukemia, brucellosis, chlamydia and paratuberculosis of cattle, as well as semen and preputial secretions for testing for trichomoniasis, campylobacteriosis, sanitary indicators (MCH, titer, pseudomonas, anaerobic infection and fungi). According to the results of the study, semen series unsuitable for artificial insemination in accordance with GOST were discarded. The faeces of stud bulls were examined for the presence of helminth eggs and protozoan cysts. In autumn, the animals were treated with Ivermek against the subcutaneous gadfly. The company carried out mandatory preventive vaccinations against anthrax, emphysematous carbuncle, leptospirosis, RTI, VD, PG-3, RSI cattle. Frozen semen was examined annually by PCR for the presence of the bovine RTI virus genome. Biochemical studies of blood serum were mandatory, which were within the physiological norm, which indicates compliance with the standards of feeding and keeping animals at the breeding enterprise. The conducted studies testify to the veterinary and sanitary well-being of the breeding enterprise for infectious and parasitic diseases of cattle.
