Ensuring criteria and target orientation to achieve the planned efficiency of the region's development

The article describes the dependence of economic growth rates, changes in the annualperformance indices of the regional socio-economic system, on compliance with thestrategic target orientation to achieve the planned level of efficiency of resource use.The possibility of compliance with the objective dynamics of the functioning of theregional economy within the framework of the system interaction of general andspecific indicators of the efficiency of resource consumption in the region substanti-ates is described. The criterion of the effectiveness of the region's development, whichcorresponds to the normative values of the region's efficiency in the conditions of anunstable state of the macro and microenvironment, is formulated. The functionalpurpose and quantitative value of the generalizing (integral) indicator of the effective-ness of the current functioning and future development of the region are determined.A methodological approach to combine the generalized and partial measures of theefficiency of resource consumption in the region into a regression system that allowsus to rank the influence of factors and determine the optimal values of the efficiencyof resource consumption in the region. is proposed.
