The article considers typical violations of individual rights in the course of buy-and-bust operations based on the analysis of decisions of the European Court of Human Rights, the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation and the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. The author makes recommendations for improvement of legal regulation and the way of conducting buy-and-bust operations.
