Social security of the Russian Far East as a reflection of personal security

This paper presents some aspects of personal security in the Russian Far East. The comparative analysis of criminality coefficient has been given for federal districts of Russia and subjects of the Far East federal district. The security level index has been calculated for individual subjects of the Far East federal district for the period of 1990-2012.
