Ensuring military safety of the Russian Federation as a field of activity of the veterans organizations and social activity of veterans

The article considers the role of the veterans public organizations in ensuring military safety of the Russian Federation under conditions of destabilization of social situation, disorganization of activity of bodies of the public and military administration. The author also substantiates the necessity to vest the veteran public organizations as institutes of civil society with more authority, to extend measures of their state support, and to strengthen the social protection of veterans. The main directions of using capacity of the veterans organizations in ensuring military safety are described.
