Ensuring the employment of the population as the main component of individual’s economic security

This article examines the role of employment in ensuring the economic security of an individual. The concept of economic security of the individual, the legal regulation of employment in the Russian Federation are considered. The interrelation of the state of protection of vital interests of the individual and the socio-economic stability of the region is determined. The emphasis is placed on the state of demographic processes in the Kaliningrad region, using the indicative method. Based on the results of the assessment, conclusions were drawn.
