Protecting women from domestic violence

The article examines factors that prevent victims of domestic violence from contacting law enforcement agencies. It also talks about the importance of holding joint events by internal affairs bodies, judicial authorities, state, public and other preventive and educational organizations among the population aimed at preventing and suppressing cases of domestic violence. In order to further prevent violence, the need to apply comprehensive measures to prevent family violence against not only the perpetrator and the victim, but also other family members is emphasized. The role of crisis centers in providing assistance to victims of domestic violence and the effectiveness of their cooperation with internal affairs bodies in ensuring the protection of victims of violence are noted.
