Ventricle of heart during orthotopical heart transplantation

The experience of use of auxiliary blood flow on by-pass ventricles of heart among 10 patients before and following of orthotopical heart transplantation for the term with 1989 to 1997 is analyzed. The use of bypass ventricles of heart following orthotopical heart transplantation or as a "bridge" to it demonstrated its high efficiency in the maintenance of the adequate rate of systemic circulation while advanced cardiac deficit. The choice of the of the technique of auxiliary bloodflo w following orthotopical heart implantation has not differ from the by-pass applications while after cardiac surgery forms of severe cardiac deficit. The duration of the realization of auxiliary bloodflow was defined up to recovery of the adequate energy of cardiac contractions or up the second orthotopical heart implantation. The by-pass of aortic ventricle as a "bridge" to orthotopical heart implantation was applied to the class of absolutely hopeless patients on the stage of donor organ expectation.
