Iron metabolism and distribution in organism of broiler-chicks under the influence of E and C vitamins

The author studied the features of iron metabolism and distribution between organs of broiler-chicks of the Smena cross in connection with dose of E vitamin in ration with increased content of ascorbic acid. It was shown, that combined application of E and C vitamins promotes to iron assimilation from ration and to more effective use of tocopherol for prevention of processes of lipid peroxidation in organism of 47-days-old broiler-chicks, that raised the meat productivity and the safe keeping of birds.
