Detection of forest fires using an airplane-type UAV

In the modern world, the problem of forest fires is becoming more and more urgent and requires the search for new effective methods and technologies for their detection and extinguishing. One of the promising areas in this area is the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This article is devoted to the study and analysis of the use of UAVs in the detection of forest fires. The work will consider successful cases of using UAVs for monitoring and tracking forest fires, as well as the rapid search and localization of fire sources using thermal imagers on such devices, and software specially designed for detecting forest fires using UAVs will be analyzed. The article will present practical recommendations on the effective use of unmanned aerial vehicles in detecting forest fires, which will allow us to draw conclusions about the prospects and potential of this technology in fighting forest fires.
