This article reviewed non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in beef. The relevance of this study is not in doubt, because. The number of positive samples of beef containing non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs is increasing every year. The main method for detecting these veterinary drugs is high performance liquid chromatography with mass spectrometric detection. Based on statistical data, it was concluded that ketoprofen and flunixin are most often found in beef samples, residual amounts of which can lead to damage to the gastrointestinal mucosa and other negative consequences for the consumer's body.
