Should the property be ruled by the society or by the government in the state of the future: fundamental differences in approach to this question by some German and Russian representatives of social democracy at the end of the XIXth - at the beginning of the ХХth century

The present article is concerned with the fundamental differences in the approach of some German and Russian social democrats at the end of the XIX th - at the beginning of the XX th century to the problem of property in the state of the future. The causes and the essence of discrepancy in the theoretical background and the practical actions of some social democratic politicians are analysed in this article. Another point studied here is whether the declared and fulfilled measures by the social democratic politicians comply with the interests of the working class. The apparent and the forthcoming consequences of the referred policy for the future of the aforementioned states and their peoples are discussed in the article.
