Features of the enrichment of the verbal emotional vocabulary through fiction in children with mental retardation are considered. The difficulties of enriching the verbal emotional vocabulary in mentally retarded students are characterized. Methods of enriching the verbal emotional vocabulary by means of fiction in mentally retarded children are described.
