The author investigated patterns of investor behavior and the main pricing factors in the cryptocurrency market. It was concluded that the role of fundamental macroeconomic factors is leveled for the crypto-tools market in comparison with traditional markets of fiat currencies, securities and exchange-traded goods, and the importance of non-economic, irrational factors related to crowd psychology and social engineering is growing, therefore, careful and comprehensive regulation of advertising and information policy is needed in this market, while the policy of social networks actually forms the practice of law enforcement.
