Substantiation of the expediency of equalizing intervals of regular passenger transport vehicles on the duplicate sections

When writing the article, the materials obtained during the survey of the population of Gomel (Republic of Belarus) were used. Methods of mathematical statistics (frequency analysis, visua-lysis of data), mathematical evidence were used by formalizing the processes studied, simplifying mathematical expressions and generalizing their results. According to the survey results, it is established that a significant part of respondents propose to implement measures to reduce inter-shafts of route vehicles. It has been proven that reducing the variation in traffic intervals between passenger vehicles leads to a decrease in the waiting time for their passengers. The obtained results can be used to reduce the waiting time for passes-fats of route vehicles.
