Reasoning of police officers' actions aimed at defending from punching, kicking and bladed articles attacks

The results of a research work on training police officers to defend themselves from attacks are presented in the article. The author's opinion on forming motor skills in the use of force and fighting techniques against offenders who resist arrest or commit armed attack on police officers is stated in the article. As a result of research the correlation between the high level of general physical fitness and specialized physical efficiency is determined by the author. The most efficient tactical actions of a police officer in defending from punching, kicking and bladed articles attacks are presented in the article.
