Justification of length and tilt angle of the seeds diffusor of narrow-rowed disk coulter

Uniform seeds distribution of cultivated plants over the area is one of the main agrotechnical requirements. Such account in the development of technological process and means of mechanization ofgrain crops is one of the main problems, the successful solution of which is of great economic importance. In the design of the existing disc coulters, the distribution of seeds over the feeding area is directly influenced by such details as a separating funnel and a diffuser, which is made in the form of an all-metal plate in wheel space. However these designsconstructions don't provide necessary uniformity. We have developed and patented the disk coulter equipped with the key-operated seeds diffusor consisting of a set of elastic plates across the full width of wheel space. The hypothesis that decrease in post-impact speed of seeds flight reduces their rolling, that leads to more uniform distribution on a groove bottom has been made. The purpose of the work is to justify some rational parameters of the key-operated seeds diffusor of the disc coulter.
