Rationale of the duality of institutional approaches to the nature of corporation

This article analyzes the institutional approach to a corporation as a special form of the business organization. The undertaken study shows, that going beyond frames of organization, the corporation’s positioning as a market economy institution allows to exceed the traditional focuses and to research not only the impact of institutional environment on efficiency of the corporation’s activities, but also the development of innovations in the institutional structure by the corporative sector.
