Justification of the need for structural adjustment in Russian engineering

This article provides an analysis of the state of the engineering industry today. The role of the engineering complex in the formation of an innovative economy is described in detail, and the main problems of the development of the industry in the current conditions are analyzed. The presence of inhibitory factors in the structure of this field of activity indicates the inevitable need for modernization and restructuring of the system using various improvement tools.
