Development of information infrastructure with the use of GIS-technologies for the modernization of the urban environment

The article introduces research in the field of housing and communal services: the relevance of modernization and the problems arising during modernization. In 2017, a decree was developed with the purpose to provide federal subsidies to the budgets of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation for the creation of comfortable conditions in the urban environment. The findings can be used by potential developers of mobile applications for inventory of courtyards and public areas.
