Parameter basis of cylindrical cellular separator

Significant part of wheat seed material in farms of Transbaikalia does not meet the requirements of the infestation standard, in particular, for the content of seeds of Tatar buckwheat and wild oats. Tartary buckwheat seeds are of shorter impurities of wheat seeds and most of them can be removed from processed material in cylindrical cellular separator (puppet cylinder). Efficient isolation of impurity from seeds is achieved by passing the processed material through cylindrical cellular separator with a cell size of 5.6 mm. A two-factor experiment was carried out to substantiate the position of leading edge of the trough of cellular separator and load. The results of the experiment were interpreted and statistical model of the technological process of cleaning seeds from shorter impurity (Tatar buckwheat) in cylindrical cellular separator was obtained. The separator parameters are based on analyzing two-dimensional sections of response surfaces of quality indicators of the process.
