Currently, vegetable non-food lignocellulose raw materials are one of the main components of waste from various industries, agriculture and forestry. The processing of this kind of organic raw materials combines not only high economic efficiency, but also environmental protection. The purpose of the research was to substantiate the application of the method of physical pre-preparation of lignocellulose raw materials - the method of hydrodynamic cavitation in the technology of obtaining feed protein. It is shown that the hydrodynamic cavitation treatment of lignocellulose raw materials significantly increases the potential of this kind of substrate in the processes of bioconversion into valuable products, in particular, into feed microbiological protein. This type of physical effect ensures the bioavailability of the organic components of the substrates to the action of enzymes and, accordingly, to the yield of easily digestible yeast fermentable sugars.
