Reasoning of the operating modes of energy saving dryer for flax straw in convection and infrared flux of heat transfer fluid

We presents the constructive and technological scheme of energy saving convective-infrared dryer and an experimental installation for its study, where we conducted the experimental drying of flax straw with the purpose to substantiate parameters and operating modes of the drying machine. The studies included the different temperatures and rates of the drying agent, as well as different combinations of simultaneous inclusion of IR heaters and electric heaters. According to the results of the experiments, we lined up drying curves and dependance graphs of the drying duration on the temperature of the drying agent. We determined the degree of influence of the drying agent temperature and the power of IR heaters on the duration of drying.
