Justification of the method of sealing crop residues according to the technological parameters of units

One of the problems of agricultural producers engaged in the cultivation of grain crops is the stubble remains of the most produced crop and the accompanying weed vegetation remains. The essence of the problem is that the remains which are carriers and substrates of pathogenic microorganisms make it difficult to carry out high-quality tillage, grain straw has a long period of decomposition and requires additional nitrogen [3, 4, 9, 12]. Such methods of removing straw as burning it are unacceptable, the selection and packaging of balers is not suitable for enterprises that are not engaged in animal husbandry, and the removed straw can no longer be used as fertilizer. In order to solve this problem, it is proposed to seal the crop residues with a combined unit mixing the performance of operations for spraying and surface tillage. Preliminary studies have shown that, despite the decrease in the total shift productivity of the experimental unit compared to the base unit by 23.44 %, the values of the total fuel consumption of the units - by 25.88 %; the total shift labor costs for the main work-by 33.33 %; the number of tractor units employed in the work by 1 unit have reduced.
