The article considers the differences of a reasonable risk which are significant for the judicial practice from other circumstances that exclude criminality in the actions provided for by the criminal law. The authors give some signs which can help to distinguish in practice a reasonable risk from other circumstances. These signs are of criminal and legal significance, since they allow not only to distinguish one circumstance from another, but also correctly apply criminal law. The purpose of the article is to identify differences of a reasonable risk from other circumstances that exclude the criminality of the act on the basis of signs that are of criminal and legal significance for the correct application of criminal law.
