The aim of the article is to analyze the concept of "feedback" through the prism of historical, philosophical and pedagogical approaches. The methodology of the study contains a comprehensive theoretical analysis of the term and the feedback process in the works of the leading researchers of pedagogy, psychology, sociology, history, philosophy and cybernetics. This study provides a comprehensive imagine the complexity and diversity of the feedback phenomenon in the educational process of the university.
