The analysis of the tree cult has shown that the images of tribal, shamanic and epic trees were genetically connected with traditional religious beliefs of Tungus-Manchu and Turkic ethnic groups, whose ancestors for many centuries had been in close contact with each other. In the rites of the life cycle of Yakuts, Evens and Evenks, the sacred trees reflect the universal symbols typical for the entire range of the peoples under consideration.
