The image of the physical self of tested individuals with different kinds of devotion to the mother

The article is presented the results of a research of the image of the physical Self in individuals with different kinds of devotion to the mother (apprehensive, reliable, distanced, scared-avoided).In the article there is shown that devotion to the mother is a factor in conditions of which the cognitive component of body image is formed and that is defined the features of the physical Self in adulthood. Adults with reliable and apprehensive devotion to the mother unlike with individuals of distanced and scared-avoided kinds of emotional devotion, they have a more objective image of the physical Self.
