The image of Christ is of key importance in Dostoevsky's later novels. In the novel "The Idiot" Prince Myshkin is a follower of Christ, he radiates His spirit, he reveres, he loves Christ, believes in Him. It is contradictory, but in an ideal way Christ appears in the confession of Hippolyte Terentyev.
