The image of a foreigner is regarded in the Russian language consciousness in the comic texts (anecdotes). Topic classification of anecdotes helps to reveal the main types of current stereotypes of a foreigner image. It is not seen as a hostile one in spite of the differences in cultures, realities and mentality.
