Image of Eney in the domestic poetry of the first quarter of the XX century

The article considers the artistic image of the ancient hero Aeneas in the reception of Silver Age writers. The main goal of the research is to establish the reason for the interest of representatives of Russian poetry, of the specified period, in this antique image. Conclusions allow you to see the reasons for applying to this image, as well as to identify the main factors that influenced the rethinking of the image in the poetry of the early XX century.
