This article compares the meaning of the concept of cats in different linguistic cultures. Linguoculture is a culture manifested to us in language and through language. Linguistic culture - a linguistic and cognitive phenomenon generated primarily by the images of consciousness in their verbal clothes. Each nation puts its meaning into this image, but in the German, English and Russian linguistic cultures can observe some similarities and differences.
