The image of a teacher in linguistic research: an axiological aspect

The article offers a brief outline of a number of linguistic studies devoted to identifying a range of values and ideas about the teacher’s figure. The analysis and summation of the results of scientific works considered in the article can contribute to the theoretical equipment of new research and increase practical achievements within the framework of the problem.
