The article deals with the theoretical analysis of the peculiarities of the development of the teacher's image by younger students and the study of the issue of the teacher image's influence on their self-cognition. There is presented the psychological and pedagogical substantiation of the usage of the video material about the personal qualities of the teacher that are revealing in his professional activity.
