The relevance of the topic of the article is due to the importance of understanding the image of the leading world powers in the minds of citizens, which serves as the basis for literate and harmonious relations between states. This is especially important in the current crisis conditions. The article presents an analysis of regional sociological research. According to the results of the survey, during the mass survey it was revealed that China is the most efficient economic system; Vladimir Putin has the greatest authority among international leaders; better than others, according to the population, China and Japan belong to Russia. The questioned population assumes in the near future the achievement of neutrality and cooperation between Russia and the world powers.
