The use of this method made it possible to describe the main features of lifestyle and adaptation. The success of the analyzed process is facilitated by the safety of the city and its small size. The attractiveness of Vladivostok is in its similarity to Asian or Latin American port cities that foreigners are used to seeing in their homeland. The Far Eastern University, where the survey was conducted, has a good international reputation, foreigners like the modern university and the campus on Russian Island, which greatly facilitates adaptation. In general, students from other countries are attracted by Russian culture, a high level of education at the university.
