The main tendencies in Russian contemporary human studies associated with premeditation concerning philosophical foundations of education are conceptualized. Referring to a number of basic categories in modern philosophy, the author tries to show that learning appears significant for its participants only if it is organized as a process of active search and generation of personal meanings (by students). The author focuses her attention on explicating the nature of educational environment facilitative in the process of new discoveries and comprehension of personal meanings.
