The article is devoted to the analysis of the influence of education, science and upbringing on the national security of the state. The purpose of the article is to formulate a number of conclusions that would point to the priority of the scientific and educational sphere in ensuring the national security of the Russian Federation. The main objectives are to analyze an impact of the scientific and educational sphere on the national security and to identify its fundamental elements. The following study methods were used: observation and collection of factors; historical and logical; analysis; synthesis and others. As a result of the research, a number of conclusions were drawn, which indicate that education, science and upbringing are the main elements of national security.
