The article analyzes the problems of interaction between the labor market and market of educational services, the formation of qualitatively new workforce, providing the economy of Kirovograd region with skilled labour. It reveals the essence and content of training of the unemployed population by centres of employment. The principles and forms of training for the unemployed are analysed there. Particular attention is paid to the vocational training of rural residents, youth, persons with disabilities
