The problem of ontological essence of education is investigated. The debatable field is formed around the statement, that education is included in all kinds and levels of human potentiality, being way of cultural-civilizational changes of individual, taking place in the basis of its essence. The goal of education is specified as revealing of human essence, each time again opening before person once more entering into the world. Educational existentiality of human life is define as process of changes of structures and subjects, appearing in realization and fusion of potentialities to changes which carriers they are and which interaction conducts simultaneously to reproduction and updating of structural properties and qualities of subjects. Institutionalization of education is considered in a context of fastening of ontological need for the social mechanism of person's evolution.
