Introduction. The article examines the problem of resource capabilities of the educational environment as a means of adolescents’ socialization. The purpose of the study is to identify the degree of traumatization and features of psychological well-being of children in the context of a hybrid war, as well as to clarify the targets of psychological and teaching assistance to adolescents with different types of well-being. Materials and Methods. The methodological basis of the study is the subject-activity, socio-cultural and resource approaches. The study was carried out within the framework of the nomothetic approach. The authors used theoretical (analysis, comparison, generalization, systematization) and empirical (testing) methods and methods of statistical processing of information to achieve the goal. The respondents were 249 children (75 boys and 174 girls) aged 14 to 17 years (mean age = 15.9; SD = 1.17), living in territories of varying distances from the areas of military operations (newly annexed territories – the “first circle of proximity” to the Special Military Operation (Luhansk, Donetsk, n = 115), border Russian territories - "the second circle of proximity" (Kursk, Belgorod, n = 41) and remote regions - "the third circle of proximity" (Kostroma, Yaroslavl, n = 93). Results. The authors of the article analyzed and summarized the studies of Russian and foreign scholars devoted to the issues of socialization and psychological well-being of children in the context of a hybrid war, as well as identifying the resource capabilities of the educational environment in minimizing the risks of socialization of the younger generation; the empirical results of the study are presented; 5 clusters are identified reflecting various types of expression of indicators of well-being and traumatization of children in the conditions of military conflict, as well as the connectivity of these indicators. Based on the analysis of the research results, difficulties of socialization, communication problems and specificity of the image of the world in the selected comparison groups were determined; risk zones in the processes of socialization of adolescents were identified. Conclusions. Variants of well-being and ill-being of adolescents in the conditions of a hybrid war were identified, which made it possible to determine the areas of targeted psychological and pedagogical assistance to adolescents in the education system based on the results obtained.
