Educational and humanitarian tasks of Russian teaching in the early ХХ century

The article considers the system of educational and pedagogical tasks faced by the Russian teaching in the early 20 th century. At the present state of educational reforming in order to assess the social importance of teaching profession it is necessary to study the historical dynamics of this process. The recognized cyclicity of the Russian history, particularly the periods at the beginning of the 20 th and 21 st centuries, makes us more closely research into the problems of teaching and correlate the ways of their solution then and now.
