Educational programs in psychology for universities: problems and solutions

The problem of updating educational programs for the training of psychologists in the field of education is considered. An algorithm for creating educational programs based on the Tuning methodology is given, which allows them to be adapted to the requirements of the legal documents of the Republic of Kazakhstan. New opportunities for the development of educational programs in a modular format are analyzed, practical recommendations are proposed for the implementation of a competency-based approach in the design and implementation of these programs. The features of the development of educational programs with a focus on liberal arts education, which makes it possible to harmoniously combine national and universal values, are shown.
